Short Term Laptop & MacBook Loans

Short-term four-hour laptop and MacBook loans are available from the self-service facility located on the ground floor of Peirson Study and Guidance Centre.

Key things to remember: 

  • You will need your student card to borrow a laptop or MacBook.
  • There is no limit on how many times you can borrow a laptop or MacBook, but you can only loan one at a time. 
  • You may be fined if laptops/MacBooks are not returned promptly.
  • Please note unreturned devices will be disabled remotely at the end of the loan period to prevent further use and charged for at the full cost of the equipment.

Longer Term Laptop & MacBook Loans

We have a number of laptops and MacBooks that you can borrow for up to two weeks. To access the IT Resources Booking system go to this link: https://itresources.getconnect2.com/

You will need to collect your device from the IT Desk on the 1st floor at the Peirson Study and Guidance Centre.

Key things to remember:

  • You will need to book these in advance.
  • All laptops and MacBooks are issued with a charger and bag.
  • If you need to renew your device, you will need to do this before the end date & time.
  • There is no limit on how many times you can borrow a laptop or MacBook, but you can only loan 1 at a time for up to 2 weeks.
  • You may be fined if laptops/MacBooks are not returned promptly.
  • Laptops/MacBooks can be blocked remotely to stop them being used after the end loan date and time, if not returned promptly.
  • Students with frequently overdue loans are likely to be prevented from using this service.
  • Please note unreturned devices will be disabled remotely at the end of the loan period to prevent further use and charged for at the full cost of the equipment.
